Terms & Conditions

Accounts must be settled in full on the day of works, or where work is spread over multiple days, on the day the work is completed. We accept payments via cheque, cash or bank transfer (BACS), We will be accepting debit cards, and PayPal in the future. Please note we do not offer credit.

Surcharges: If you have dogs, please ensure that all faeces are cleared from the work site prior to our arrival. Failure to do so may result in a cleaning surcharge of £50.00 being applied to your bill.

Cancellation: While we acknowledge that appointments may occasionally need to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to provide the company* with reasonable notice. If we arrive to perform the scheduled work without having received a cancellation notice, the customer** will incur a fee that compensates for the time, fuel, and mileage expended by the business**.

Design Services: When the company* is engaged by the customer** to create a new garden design, the customer** acknowledges that a fee (which is refundable if the work is executed by the company*) is to be paid to the company* for the design, any accompanying drawings, site surveys, estimates, and initial discussions concerning the customer’s** requirements. This fee is to be remitted at the time of commissioning the design services. Should the customer** decide not to proceed with the design, or opt to utilize the design with a different contractor or undertake the work independently, this fee will constitute full payment for the design services provided.

Loyalty Scheme: Customers** who utilize our* services for five mowing sessions within a two-month period will qualify for one complimentary mowing session. This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other special promotions. This offer must be used within 14 days of the 5th qualifying mow. This offer can be withdrawn at anytime without notice.

Special offers: Offers, Discounts, Concessions & Incentives are offered at the sole discretion of the Company* and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

Quotations: Due to the volatility of the price of materials, quotations where materials are included are valid for a period of no more than 30 days from the date of issue. If work is contracted to start outside this 30 day period an updated quotation will be provided that reflects any change in the pricing of materials. Once the quotation has been confirmed & agreed by the customer** the provided quotation will become the contract of works and any requested changes or alterations to the quotation by either party must be agreed in full (verbally or by written agreement) before any such change or alteration be made.

Estimates: Estimates are offered at the time of asking with the understanding that they are not a binding contract. The company* reserves the right to alter the price estimated at it’s discretion should circumstance dictate. There for before any agreement is reached the company* advises a proper full quotation be sought and agreed upon before any work commences.

Referrals: Should you refer a friend who subsequently engages our services, the referring customer** will receive a discount of up to 50% on their next scheduled work (limited to a maximum reduction of £50), applicable once the referred work is paid in full. The amount discounted is at the discretion of the company* & is not open to negotiation. This offer can be withdrawn at any time without notice.

We will not assume liability for any inadvertent damage to a customer’s** belongings unless such damage is directly attributable to our* clear negligence. While we strive to deliver a high level of professional service, it is crucial that all personal items—such as toys, bicycles, furniture, and tools—are removed from the work site before our operations commence. If necessary, we are fully prepared to assist customers** in the removal of any items from the work area to promote a safe and effective working environment. The company* carries Public Liability Insurance. See above for a copy of my* certificate.

All jobs are scheduled on the understanding that the work will be finalized on the designated date, or, if that is not feasible due to adverse conditions, at the next available appointment.

Waste Removal: Waste will be disposed of only by prior agreement with the customer** and will incur a fee that accurately reflects the time and costs incurred by the business*. Please see a copy of my* waste carriers license above.

All services rendered by the business* on behalf of the customer** will be charged at an agreed price established in advance. Any additional work requested by the customer** during our time on site will be billed separately.

By contracting Busy Bee Garden services*, whether that be by verbal or written contract, the customer** agrees to be bound by the above Terms & Conditions.
